WHY THE SAUS

Why "THE SAUS"? How did that come about? It started one day back in 2016 while at the Centerville Dragway in Centerville, AR. There was guy in a C7 Corvette who was confident that anyone he raced, that drove to the track instead of being trailered, would lose to his Corvette. Well, we were able to line up at some point in the day and I was able to get the win by just a bit more than a half-second in 1,000 feet. Centerville is a 1,000 ft track instead of a quarter mile. I ran a 7.92 in the 1/8th, to his 8.46. In the 1,000ft I ran a 10.13 to his 10.66.

Anyway, a few guys came up saying I "laid the sauce" on him. The name just kind of stuck. A few weeks later, I decided that I wanted to get that on a license plate somehow. So "THE SAUS" it is. Not a very exciting story, but a story none the less.
